After your arm lift plastic surgery, you may want to know what to expect in the coming days and weeks. At our Houston and Woodlands, Texas offices, you will find answers to these and additional questions by meeting our board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Jason Bailey at your private consultation. We have also included some basic post surgical information in the following paragraphs.

Immediately following your arm lift surgery, dressings or bandages may be applied to your incisions, and your arms may be wrapped in an elastic bandage or a compression garment to minimize swelling. A small, thin tube may be temporarily placed under the skin to drain any excess blood or fluid.

You will be given specific instructions on how to care for the surgical site and drains, medications to apply or take orally to aid healing, specific concerns to look for, and when to follow up with Dr. Bailey or his staff.

  • Where will I be taken after my surgery is complete?

  • When will they be removed?
  • Are stitches removed? When?
